My New Happy Place...
Oh and guys, I

That time when Spiderman becomes amazing. Oh, and way attractive.
Guys. This movie, it's adorable. Like seriously you will giggle at least 17 times. Which means I giggled 217 times. Cause ya know, that's just how normal I am. Oh and I cried, cause that's what I do best.
Why are they both so perfect? Seriously.

I dreamed a dream...
Then this came along:
My love for Eponine has always pushed through and made it so I've never liked Cosette a whole lot, and it didn't help that when I saw it live the girl playing her did not have a voice cut out for the role. But I came to adore her while watching this movie, and her and Marius were so sweet and loving to each other I couldn't help but love them together.
And just to leave you with two incredibly attractive faces...
You are welcome.

Confession.
Tonight I got to go to a wedding reception and it was of course lovely! The bride was stunning, and all of the engagement pictures made me want to cry they were so adorable. And for reals, I think I got told "You're next..." at least 67 times. And I kept responding with "I hope so!" which I don't think my mother appreciated. ;) In reality, I plan on finishing nursing school and maybe travel a bit before I get married. Maybe even a mission for my church for that traveling! That would be lovely. And then me and my tall, attractive husband travel a bit more, together this time. And then we have pretty babies, five of them, but far enough apart that I don't explode or something similarly drastic...I guess I don't really get that much control over my life, although I like to pretend I do. :)

It's the most wonderful time of the year...
I couldn't sleep Christmas night, I was all wrapped up in bed wearing my beautiful, soft new pajamas but could not for the life of me sleep! The Christmas butterflies are on a roll man! But I stayed happy and awake all Christmas of course, with the adrenaline of it all. Here are a few of my favorite presents I received...
From my amazing parents, Taylor Swift Red Tour concert tickets. Oh my goodness it was a surprise! I sadly have to wait until August, but that gives me time to get all of my awesome dance moves down so it's all good.
From my lovely boy, a homemade "Happy Pillow", pictures of happy moments, favorite people, attractive actors, the temple, baby animals. Pretty much sums up the things that can instantly make me happy. There is even a Pooh Bear quote! "Any day spent with you is my favorite day. So, today is my new favorite day." Goodness it made me so happy! I instantly proved that it was named properly. It was a perfect present. :)
And again from the best parents ever, I got my two nerdy presents! A "River Song" journal for an ode to one of my favorite shows, Doctor Who. And a "BAZINGA!" shirt as an ode to Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, my most recent obsession. Wow they are best!!
I am so grateful for my family, friends, and leaders who are there for me always in my times of need. And I am eternally grateful to my Saviour, who sacrificed everything for me. As I celebrate this joyful Christmas season, I of course love the excitement and presents, but it will always really be the celebration of Christs birth. So Happy Birthday my kind older brother, thank you so much for looking out for me always, I look forward to the day where I get to hug you tight and thank you in person again.

Happy Birthday Paige
Paige, you are the strongest girl I know. You are amazing and beautiful, all of the time. And even though I might not show it often enough, I am so incredibly grateful that I got you as a sister. I really am the luckiest duck.

A Fresh Start
Here is what is going on in my life right this very moment! You might be lucky enough to get the full story's later, maybe.
I am going to my local community college doing my pre-requisites for nursing school! It is super exciting. I have found that I need to keep myself very motivated to succeed. And that having the flu during finals week is the worst thing, ever.
I am working as a waitress at a retirement home, Merrill Gardens. It is very stressful but I love it! The people are fantastic and I love getting to know them. I am horrible at names, so I know maybe 5 out of the 300 who live there. But I do know 60% of their drink orders! And I can carry my food tray on one arm now, so I must be gaining muscle. So I'm pretty proud of myself.
My 15 year old sister Paige is in a two week long Pain Rehabilitation program at the Seattle Children's Hospital. In the past year and a half every single thing physically that can possibly go wrong has gone wrong for her. It has been very hard on everyone in the family, but to be honest no one knows how Paige handles everything so well. She is a very happy girl! She loves pink, writing songs, and at the moment grape juice.
I have the best family. My dad wakes me up for seminary (6 AM class) and keeps my white work shirts clean (I make that extremely difficult, trust me.) My mom is one of my best friends and I tell her everything, and I mean everything. She probably wants to duct tape my mouth shut constantly. Paige is the strongest person I know and I love her to death. Lilly is a weirdo who makes all of us laugh, and she is really good at doing my hair. Sam loves to talk to us about nerdy things none of us understand of course. And Sarah is our little angel that is sometimes really hard to handle, but she is the most lovable little thing ever. And she sneaks into my bed to sleep a lot, which I secretly think is super cute.
I have two best friends, Elisabeth and Sean. Elisabeth is my age and we are basically twins. There is no other explanation for our identical brains. Seriously. We go to school together and freak everyone out together of course. She is my person. Like if I needed to murder someone in the middle of the night she would be the person I would call to help me drag the dead body into the lake, and she would do it too. And then the next day we would probably both tell our mom's because we tend to do that, but we would be in jail together so it would be okay. If you can't tell, we have previously discussed this because we are that cool.
And then there's Sean, he is a boy. And I kinda like him a lot. And he is kind, hilarious, quirky, and he kinda likes me too. It's a win-win kind of situation. My family has adopted him into the family over the last two years, and I think they might even like him more than I do. He is Sarah's "lovebug" and the only person who understands Sam. Lilly more than tolerates him, which is seriously saying something. And he is the only boy Paige will willingly hug, which is basically a miracle. Oh and my parents love him, they even trust him most of the time! He takes me on dates and rubs my feet when my mom gives him permission (kidding, kinda.) and brings me ice cream and chocolate when I have my daily mental breakdowns (again, kidding, kinda.) and I think he might even be used to how incredibly insane I am and how I cry all the time, maybe. So he's basically perfect, it's pretty awesome.
Sometimes I sit back and suddenly realize that life is happening, and it's going by way too fast. Those TV shows that I "used" to be obsessed with, yeah I am the age of those characters now. It's pretty scary. And I don't want to forget the little moments, or the big ones. So I'm going to motivate myself and start writing again, I love this little blog of mine and I want to be able to look back and remember these things whenever I want. So here we go, it's a fresh start!
Today's quote is my motivation to keep writing on this blog. Because he's right, I have plenty of time.
"Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein."

Girls Camp!!!!!!!!
So this year I brought Robin with me! Everyone absolutely loved her and she had a great time! Hehe we listened to Lady gaga on the way up to camp (Poker Face, Telephone) and so all week Me, Robin, Lizz, Toria, and Brina had it stuck in our heads and so we kept breaking out into those songs...It was pretty hilarious:D Me and Robin were in the Teepee called the WOW girls (Word Of Wisdom) and we had an amazing teepee mom, not so much on the ycls but oh well! We had 4 other fantastic girls in our teepee with us and we bonded with them!
Robin was awesome at making up cheers! She either completely wrote or helped write every single cheer!
I got to ride horses for the first time! It was so much fun and the girls in charge said I had good posture while riding! hehe my horses name was Harry and he kept trying to eat stuff from the trees and stuff which was annoying but me and him are friends now cause I talked to him the whole time while I was on him (those who know me, cant you imagine me riding a horse through the woods at like 1 mile an hour and having conversations with him? ;)
Saturday morning wasn't as amazing...Paige (my little sis) woke up throwing up and had a fever for a couple hours and her friend Olivia also did. Olivia actually didn't stop throwing up for hours, Paige luckily only threw up once right when she woke up...Well shes getting better now that shes home! So everythings good:)
Oooh! I did the Polar dip of course! Me and Lizz held hands and sprinted in and just really quickly dunked, I dunked 5 times, I think she dunked 3, and then we sprinted right out again! Haha its no where near what I did last year (me and Brina did it 35 times) but still awesome!
Okay so on the car ride home we went with Brina's mom and filled up the car! It was Me, Robin, Lizz, Sara, Becca, Brina, and Toria! We stopped at a Mcdonalds on the way back and stayed for like an hour eating food and singing camp songs extremely loud! haha we were afraid they were gonna kick us out...That would of been pretty excitinf though! Mom: "So what was your favorite part of camp?" Me: "Getting kicked out of McDonald's!!!" Mom: "???" hahaha I make myself laugh sometimes;)
Well when I got home me, Robin, and Paige told my mom tons of stories and sang her cheers and camp songs until Robin had to leave:(
And then I took an extremely long shower and bubble bath!!! I was so excited that I smell good again! But kinda sad cause what I thought was a tan actually was just dirt, and so my tan washed off...hehe:) Well that's my week for ya!
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someones garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Quote of the Day
Just wait till its plain to see
What we're growing up to be
Cause Some frogs will still be frogs
And Some dogs will still be dogs
Some boys could become men
Just don't kiss us 'til then.

Here we go AGAIN.
3 years ago my parents went on Trek. Trek is a pioneer camp my church does. On the last day they were there my mom stepped in a gopher hole and broke her ankle. It completely snapped. I'm not going to give you details but she ended up having surgery on it about a year later, that whole year she was either off her foot or in a boot, it was super hard...well she had surgery and then was off her foot again for 6 weeks and was in the boot for several months. We were so excited the day she took off her boot! It was amazing!!! 3 days later she stepped on a sewing needle on the floor and it broke off in her other foot (not the foot with the surgery) The needle completely disappeared in her foot and she had to have major surgery to get it out it was so deep in her foot. Because of the surgery she was off her foot again for 6 weeks...To this day she has has had daily pain from both her feet because of these surgery's, just a few months ago she started physical therapy to try and get both of the healed and back to normal.
Well there is the background you needed. Now here's what happened yesterday...Yesterday my mom was walking outside and she somehow tripped and fell. It was terrible, she couldn't move and she just kept sobbing "No, not again. No, no, no. Not again." She knew something was seriously wrong with her ankle (the one that got the needle stuck). Luckily we had a friend over who's dad is a foot doctor so he called his dad and he came over and looked at it. He told my dad that she needed to go to the doctor and get it x-rayed, so they slowly got my mom out to the car and they got her to the doctors. The walk-in-clinic was of course as stupid as ever and did not do a good job but oh well. All we know right now is that her ankle has a 4th degree sprain, which is the worst you can get without it breaking. We are so grateful its not broken but its still terrible. Now I will tell you the super freaky part. As you know yesterday was July 10th 2010. It was July 10th 2007 that she broke her other ankle. Which means that she broke her ankle on the 3 year anniversary of breaking the other one...isn't that just plain freaky?!? Well theres the dramatics of my day for ya:(

Eclipse!!!
Okay, so before I start on my EFY stuff I'm gonna do my post on Eclipse:) Eclipse was amazing!!! Edward is finally the prince charming I always imagined him as! And Jacob is finally the guy I hated in the books! haha;) Bella even did awesome...They followed the plot pretty well and it had all the scenes that I was so excited for in it. I LOVED Jasper! He was just plain awesome...I even thought the new Victoria did great...the only negative thing I have about it was there was too much making out with way too many couples but I think everyone expected that. Besides that, I am amazed at how awesome it turned out and I am really hoping Breaking Dawn is just as good:)

Best Friends
Life is an awful, ugly place to not have a best friend.
When you're in jail, a good friend will be trying to bail you out. A best friend will be in the cell next to you saying, 'Wow, that was fun!'.
True friends are very difficult to find, hard to leave, and impossible to forget.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.
Because you mean a lot to me, when you cry, ill cry, when you laugh, ill laugh, when you jump out a window, ill laugh again;)
A friend is someone who can look at you when you have the biggest smile on your face and still tell something is wrong.

Letters To Juliet
Me and my friend Brie went to see Letters To Juliet the other day...I went in expecting a super cheesy, annoying romance that I wouldn't like. But I actually loved it!!! I'm not saying it didn't have its cheesy moments, but it was just enough to make it funnier instead of annoying. The adventure the characters went on was realistic and connectible and I totally teared up like 5 times:) Plus the main characters are beautiful! haha;) I was really amazed at the actress who played Claire... She was gorgeous in her own way. No botox, hardly any makeup. And her character was very confident and funny. It made me happy to watch her.. Well I'm excited to see it again this weekend and I totally recommend it!

The Maze Runner
Last week, my buddy Jesse forced me to read this book called The Maze Runner...he said it was ridiculously addicting and I just had to read it...Well he was totally right! I read it in 2 days, the beginning was just like any ol' book so I spent a day reading about the first 100 pages. The second day I got to the addicting part at when I usually go to bed and read it straight through the last 300 pages to the end! It was an amazing book but Iv got to say that it kinda freaked me out, I'm pretty sure I had a couple nightmares about it:) But it was because the author is so good at what he does, he described the creatures in this story so well that I have a terribly accurate image stuck in my brain...I bet that its his goal in life for people (that rarely have nightmares about books or movies) to have a nightmare about his writing! I never want to meet this guy though! The fact that his mind can make up this plot and creatures is disgusting, and although I'm glad he did because I love it, I'm completely scared of him! Again, it is an amazing book and I would recommend it to anyone, boys and girls, as long as you aren't deathly afraid of scary creatures:) Oh and if you have read The Hunger Games (another amazing book) you will definitely love this!!! Apollo and his Awesomeness (and is that a word?)
""I feel a haiku coming on." Apollo cleared his throat and held up one hand dramatically.
'Green grass breaks through snow
Artemis pleads for my help
I am so cool.'
"That last line was only four syllables," Artemis said.
Apollo frowned. "Was it?"
"Yes. What about, 'I am so big-headed'?"
"No, no, that's six syllables. Hmm." He started muttering to himself.
Zoe Nightshade turned to us. "Lord Apollo has been going through this haiku phase ever since he visited Japan. 'Tis not as bad as the time he visited Limerick. If I'd had to hear one more poem that started with, 'There was once a goddess from Sparta--"
"I've got it!" Apollo announced. "'I am so awesome'. That's five syllables!" He bowed, looking very pleased with himself. "
